Campbell Fullarton

Campbell joined the firm in 1977 and was our senior partner until stepping down from that role in March 2018. He continues as a Consultant on a part-time basis working 3 days per week.

Against a background of general practice, he developed a particular interest in commercial conveyancing and general commercial work including partnerships, the purchase and sale of businesses and the many aspects of employment law, and also built up expertise in coal development and extraction. He is also strong in private client work, dealing with estate planning, Wills and administration of estates.

He is a past Dean of Kilmarnock Faculty of Solicitors and holds the position of charity trustee for his local church and for a number of years was the principal trustee for a children’s charity in Bolivia.

Away from the office, Campbell is at last finding some time to spend with his long-suffering wife, Marjorie, while trying to keep in touch with his family and grandchildren in Prague and Hereford. Sadly, now that he is able to squeeze in a little extra golf he is finding that his long-cherished ambition of lowering his golf handicap was always just a pipe-dream!
