Lesley Dowdalls is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Child Law and Family Law and is assisted by a strong team in all matters relating to Child Law. Lesley acts on behalf of those seeking to formalise adoptions as well as parents who wish to oppose the process.
Our highly skilled team offers advice based on individual circumstances and covers all aspects of Child Law, focusing on the best interests of the child. Where possible, we assist parents to find a workable and practical solution but when agreement is not possible, Court action may be necessary.
Advice and representation is also offered to parents and relevant persons in connection with Children’s Hearings and Children’s Referral proceedings.
